English to English translations [Non-PRO] Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature / children's literature
English term or phrase:hoping for smth to tear it
They were roaming among the trees always hoping for another victim to tear it apart.
(From the description of Deadwights, or Zombies)
Is it possible to put the phrase this way, or is such a construction too colloquial? What I mean here is "hoping to meet another victim and tear it apart"?
