English term or phrase: to walk out of a negotiation
Does it mean "to withdraw from a negotation"? Here's the context (the text is about win-lose strategies during a negotation)
"Good cop, bad cop. Negotiators using this strategy hope to sway you to their side by alterning sympathetic with threatening behavior. You should be on your guard when you are confronted with the following tactics: (1) the other party becomes irrational or abusive; (2)the other party walks out of a negotiation and (3) irrational behavior is followed by unreasonable behavior"
Because withdrawing from negotiation can't be a strategy, since if you leave, you don't get what you wanted.. so I supposed it should mean sthg different...
Thx! :-)
