English to Afrikaans translations [PRO]

Translating "solutions" in Afrikaans is always tricky. Here I opted for "produkte" (products) but I've also seen "oplossings" used (although I'm not fond of it). A web host is a gasheer and the verb hosting can be translated as huisvesting. Your text is an advertising type of text -- I would play around with it more freely and not worry about translating it word for word.

I just realised that "web" is not specified in the source text, although I do think it is implied. Either way, I think you should not write "huisvesting" on its own, or it will sound like a real estate company :-). Add something geeky in front of it (like "web"). |
