English to Afrikaans translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Computers (general) / Internet media
English term or phrase: screencast
Busy proofreading a Microsoft document, and above term has been translated as "skermrolverdeling". My mouth hung agape, but I have been unable to find a suitable translation for this common term.

skermopname
Explanation:
First of all it seems to me that it is not clear to everyone what screencast means. Have a look at the wikipedia reference given below for an explanation.

I found only one instance on the Internet where my proposed answer is used, but then I had a look at the usage of this term in Dutch as support. I found that the English term is most frequently used, but schermopname is also relatively common (see the Google search result for "screencast + schermopname" - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=screencast + s...

And then of course also the Afrikaans reference (it seems to me like this is going to be one of my clumsy days):

skermgloed, skermkleur

Explanation:
