disagree  Samuel Murray: In the middle of a sentence, "geseënde Kersfees". For "prosperous new year", either "voorspoedige Nuwejaar" (New Year's Day) or "voorspoedige nuwe jaar" (new year of 365 days) is correct, but not "voorspoedige Nuwe Jaar".
