I noticed that one of Alban's links orders both of them both in a list as separate items:
FV automat 16A/4Polar per ndricimin dhe per priza
FV salvavita 16A/4Polar per ndricimin dhe per priza

"Salvavita" was written all over these devices when they were first imported from Italy and installed - that's why the name has stuck. But, most commonly people refer to them as "automat" in their own homes. Now, are these being referred to as two different kinds? Or just a lapse in these links?

Go to page 67, point 31 and 32. For the same equipment this document uses two different terms. Now, let alone the poor quality of a formal document, which is tragic actually, but look how irresponsible people can be about using the right term.

So I agree with what Alban says, that what he suggests actually has started to be used, but I cannot help but expressing my concern about this phenomena, i.e. the laziness that we sometimes show when it we chose our words/terms.
