English term or phrase: Goodbye and good luck.
A group of us from work (white-collar professionals in Canada) are taking a former shqip-speaking colleague (who left us of her own volition) out to dinner. I would like to wish her good luck in her new position ... maybe in her future life, as I do not know if I will ever see her again. The phrase could be on behalf of myself or the entire group.

agree  Silke Blumbach: However, the second version is informal; for formal style, "pac" has to be replaced with "paci" (with the diacritic sign).

  -> In this case there was no specification for formal speech. Often colleagues choose and prefer to speak to each other informally and on a first-name basis, however this depends on local customs. Thank you!

Explanation:
Here is one more way of saying "good luck", which is a typically Albanian expression.
Or "Mirupafshim dhe JU priftë e mbara", in case of addressing more than one person.

agree  Gentiana Kasemi: I think all of the colleagues' answers are really OK, however Ledja's one, perhaps, is the one to be chosen. In the Southern Albania we say also: "Mirupafshim e të vaftë mbarë" or similarly to Nick's version: "Ta bëftë (zoti) diell"

Mire u pafshim dhe zoti qofte me ju, pac fat


Explanation:
I totally agree with all the above answers, just needed to add something. The original meaning of goodbye is "God be with you" and in Albanian we use both, see you and good be with you (Mire u pafshim dhe Zoti qofte me ju ); in some regions they use " May you have a sunny weather ( t'u befte diell ... )". In any case, the separation is not good lol

here is also another version with God:
mir' u pafshim dhe u a befte zoti mbare, (ishalla)!!

disagree  Silke Blumbach: The version with God is not generally used. In my opinion, it is better to cling to the original in this case. By the way, "mirupafshim" is written in one word.

  -> How do you know that the version with god is not generally used? I was born, raised , educated and traveled in many regions of Albania and everywhere they use versions with God. In Albanian they also say, hajde baba te te tregoj arat.
