This is a preliminary title about something (TV set for instance) that has great advantages and lacks one necessary thing that causes it to loose significant recording or popularity>>>
How can we say the above sentence in more acceptable way?

First of all I think my question was very clear. I gave an example in paretheses (T.V) because I didn't want to uncover my translation at first. Then contrary to what you suggested the expression has nothing to do with technical, computers or hardware. It is rather general and could have been answered clearly from the context already given. Finally, the explanations you added at the end (in Arabic) are related to the text I added later which - in my opinion - are not a prerequisite for translating the sentence into Arabic even literally.

With all my respect to all who participated, the problem here is in the way the question was posted in the first place. 1st, there wasn't context at all, so most prozians were unable to sugest something even close to the subject.

I'm not talking about the removal of the question, but about the fact that you haven't received more relevant answers. The way you put the question led us to believe that this is some idiomatic expression which we, as non-native speakers of English ...
So which is more logical? To ask for more clarification or to remove it?

You see, Khaled, that's why people who are serious about Kudoz always ask for more context, context, contex. I may be completely wrong, but I believe the expression "it draws blood" isn't really an idiomatic expression, but was used specifically in this..
I'd rather not add more explanation because one of the prozians removed my question, claiming that it lacks "literary and technical merit". I am surprised how such a thing is happening in PROZ although many trivial questions are posted and detailed. Bye the way, I asked one of the colleagues in Britain and she gave me a perfect answer. Thanks to her and to you all.
I don't know if others agree with me, but I don't know what this means in English in the first place. I suggest you post this as an Eng>Eng question and see what suggestions and/or explanation you can get there. Regards
