Arabic translation:الإدراك، الرؤية
Explanation:
AL-IDRAK is the generic term used for cognitive functions.

RU'YA literally means "vision," or "seeing," but, just as in English, it is often used for congnition in general, when the context is clear and unmistakable.

For sensory perception, we use the expression AL-IDRAK AL-HISSIYY الإدراك الحسّـيّ
