If somebody said [in Arabic] "I think we should kill the chickens."
How would you translate the word "kill" (translate it so I can type the Arabic word out on an American keyboard)

Explanation:
I agree with what Fuad said about the verbs: naqtol and nathbah = (we) kill, because (naqtol) is usually used for humans. When animals or birds are involved the appropriate word is either nathbah or nanhar (nanhar is used for camels), but if the verb (kill) in your sentence is like (KILL TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE) or (KILL THE GOOSE THAT LAID THE GOLDEN EGG ) or if the chickens are not really chickens, then you could use (naqtol)
Yaqtolo (he kills)
Naqtolo (when pronounced with Arabic diacritics) or naqtol: (we kill)

Explanation:
The most common word for the verb "kill" (conjugated to fit your context) is NAQTUL. In the context of chicken, however, NATHBAH (TH sounds like TH in "lather") sounds more idiomatic to me.
