English to Arabic translations [PRO] Automotive / Cars & Trucks / children's safety | | English term or phrase: H harness | I can't explain what it is, but here are a few photos:
http://www.therafin.com/harness.htm
They are used together with baby capsules in cars, to keep the child from flying out in case of a road accident.
Thanks for the help. |
| | | حزام تثبيت أو حزام أمان | Explanation: The first suggestion was literal, I am afraid. It reads (harness or belt in the shape of H), which does not make much sense and does not convey the actual meaning with the indication of safety or securing. English is different from Arabic. It does make sense to have the (H) in the English term since the harness itself has the same shape, but in Arabic it does not look nice. According to the reference pictures, I think we can just translate it as:
حزام تثبيت أو حزام أمان
Hope it helps!

We can also add the word (baby) since it is all about babies here.
