As you correctly assume the term is connected with remote control parking but that is not what it means as you can't buy remote controlled parking. In this case what it means in m y opinion is one of two things
it could mean buying the complete remote controlled parking system
or more liklely the 'parking remote' refers to the controller held in your hand as in the pictures in

just the same way as we 'TV remote' we mean the actual control unit

that I already did (parking remotes). the whole sentence was "to buy new parking remotes from XXX". I do not think it gives any additional clues. thank you.
