| | معاملة بنكية أو مصرفية | Explanation: Pronounced MU"AMALA BANKIYYA or MASRAFIYYA
As far as the term "transaction" itself goes, I believe MU"AMALA BANKIYYA is the closest, unless we know the type of the transaction and we want to identify the type by name. If we want ot stick to the original wording, the following may not be a bad rendition:
وكذلك معاملة بنكية بمبلغ 175 مليون دولار أمريكي أضيفت لحساب مصر في بانك د باري
However, in terms of producing the smoothest Arabic rendition of the whole sentence, I see no harm in zapping the whole term out. It is superfluous, unless it makes sense in light of the preceding and/or following part(s) of the sentence. The suggested translation would be:
وكذلك 175 مليون دولار أمريكي أضيفت لحساب مصر في بانك د باري

A suggestion: You may want to replace the prepositon في with the preposition لدى so that the juxtaposition of the two words مصر and في would not look like the word مصرفي which would confuse the reader, especially since the topic has to do with banking. With this suggestion, the second half of the sentence would read:
أضيفت لحساب مصر لدى بانك د باري
A small matter, but every little bit helps. |
