The Dietary Assistant is employed in institutional food service (usually health care) to help the dietary staff provide healthy, safe, and nutritious food. Duties will include interacting with clients and performing various food production and service tasks. The demand for dietetic practitioners trained in nutrition, sanitation, modified diets, accurate measurements, and tray line efficiency is increasing.
