Ammonia gas is toxic and inhalation may be lethal. It is also flammable in air at concentrations of 16% to 27% by volume.

I got the general meaning here, but how would you express volume in Arabic ?

neutral  Hassan Al-Haifi (wordforword): where is the relativity implied in the context? Note that Sakhr and Ectaco start off with كمية. This could be measured spatially, by mass or whatever.

الفرق العام بين الحجم والكتلة

Explanation:
This in response to the professional recommendation of Mr. Fuad "be accurate when awarding an agree" and in addition to the good input of Mr. neuneutek.

Mass
The quantity of matter a body contains. Mass is measured in kilograms (and often incorrectly called weight).

Volume
The measurement, in cubic inches, cubic feet, etc., of the amount of space within a certain object or area.

أي أن الحجم يقاس بوحدات الحجم (التكعيبية) أما الكتلة فتقاس بوحدات الوزن رغم وجود فرق حتى بين الكتلة والوزن, ناهيك عن الفرق بين الحجم والكتلة

agree  neuneutek: I agree. *even if late* Weight isn' t mass even if they'r colsely related. The weight (in Newtons) of a mass of 1 kg on the moon is 1/6 of its weight on earth. (1/6 right? I am not sure of the figure ...) ;) Mass in kg,weight in Newtons, vol in cubic lengt
