English term or phrase: cauldren
Because Erta Ale sits at the junction of three continental plates, this powerful cauldren has already begun to show us how ocean floors expand and continents split apart

Explanation:
مشعل العراف
تعويذة العراف
The cauldren is one of the most common symbols of witchcraft, it is a utensil that could once be found sitting in the fireplace of most homes.
Some ancient celtic traditions the cauldrens three legs can also represent the concept of reincarnation, the birth, death and rebirth cycle.
Cauldrens can be used to represent water, and can be used for scrying. it is often used in association with the element of fire, as small 'bonfires' can be lit in them to burn spells or incense.
Jumping over the cauldren has now replaced the 'bonfire leap' (Health & safety!!!) especially in urban spaces.
Depending on the intent of the ritual, the cauldren can be placed in the 'female' west or the 'male' south of the circle.

مرجل بركاني

Explanation:
The Erta' Ale is a shield volcano located in the Afar triangle in Ethiopia.(see ref.)

If cauldron had not been translated into an established geological term into Arabic yet, I would prefer مرجل بركاني
