POSING AS BUYERS, TWO UNDERCOVER AGENTS ARRANGE TO MEET ELOS LATE AT NIGHT. ONE WEARS A HIDDEN CAMERA. THE STING IS ALSO CAPTURED BY POLICE SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS
IT’S A DANGEROUS OPERATION. ONE MISTAKE COULD TIP OFF THE SUSPECT. ELOS PULLS UP JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT.

Explanation:
The links below give very ways of defining sting in the context given and otherwise. In this context, as Webster's Online suggests, slang is a slang for a police set up or trap (snare also has the same connotation). I have used snare in the same context, since sting as a slang is not so readily defined
