أول خطوة في البروفات هي القراءة الأولي للسيناريو مع الممثلين المختارين . وفي هذه المرحلة يقوم الممثلون بالقراءة بدون توجيه من المخرج . والهدف من هذه القراءة الجماعية هو التعرف علي رؤية كل ممثل للشخصية واكتشاف إذا ما كانت هناك مشاكل في بعض المشاهد . كما أنه يساعد علي خلق حالة من الود بين الممثلين .

Explanation:
"table-read" refers to the action performed by all the film cast who gather around a table and analyze the screenplay. قراءة الطاولة is the literal translation but I don't think anyone would understand the inner meaning. For this reason I think it should be traslated as تحليل السيناريو
