Explanation:
Banner: is a Student System that helps tracking a student's progress toward a degree or certificate. A Banner Module is a CAPP Curriculum, Advising and Program Planning.

Captive: is used to describe a program. A Captive program means that all its attached areas will be used to process a student's compliance. Dynamic processing can never occur on a program designated as Captive.
