Thank you Zeinab for your referral. However, I do not feel convinced of teh translations proposed. I certainly know what a pop-up window means in English and Arabic by way of explanation. What I need is a one or two word translation that is understood by the reader immediately. In spite of the fact that نافذة فرعية or نافذة منبثقة meet the criterion of being short, yet they do not really reflect the meaning. The former may apply to any sub-window, and the latter is not entirely correct. Thank you.
