English term or phrase: Bluetooth
I always just transliterate the word, as بلوتوث but now a client is coming back to me saying that they found a translation for it as السن الزرقاء.
searching the net, I found this translation in many places, but I am not sure about it. What would be the right decision here; translate or transliterate?

Thank you all for your help.

bluetooth
بلوتوث

Explanation:
ّIt has to stay as "bluetooth" it is a brand name. It's been taken from the name of the Denmark kink "Harald Bluetooth Gormson" 910 A.D.

disagree  Mona Ragaei: I also don't agree because plus to Ahmed wadan's point of view, what does السن الأزرق refer to in arabic in general and what does it mean in this specific area

تعنية السن الأزرق أو البلوتوث

Explanation:
أعتقد أن الاسم التقني هو البلوتوث، وربما ايتم استخدام السن الأزرق كتعريثف أكثر لتسهيل حغظه اسمه التقني. أنظر الرابطين أدناه

disagree  ahmadwadan.com: Hello Mr. Hassan, the same reasons for my disagreement are mentioned above. Kind regards لم يقل أحد على الإطلاق أنك اخترعت السن الزرقاء لكن ليس كل ما ينشر على صفحات الإنترنت صحيح كما أن رفضي لهذه الترجمة بعد اختيار السائل لغيرها لا ضير منه وشكرا لسعة صدرك

-> My answer came from a reference in the Web, I did not devise it myself and besides I used both including Bluetooth. So, where does the disagreement come from after the term desifred has already been selected. With all respects; no hard feelings at all!

Explanation:
Hi... it really breaks my heart hearing about such translations, some terms are just not meant to be translated, we should consider them as nouns, or for this exact term ( blue tooth) I guess we should first understand how does it function, for example, infra red is translated properly because we understood the nature of it, I guess we need a help from technicians in mobile field and afterwards we can try to translate it properly, however, the translation you mentioned is ridiculous and SHOULD NOT be USED!
