ورد المصطلح بمقالة في جريدة الرياض السعودية

تكنولوجيا الهدامة (Disruptive technology) مصطلح جديد يعكس الحالة السلبية التي أوصلتنا إليها التسارع التقني المحموم في عالم التكنولوجيا. تعرف التكنولوجيا الهدامة على أنها أي جهاز أو منتج أو خدمة تعمل على تعطيل الابداع، ومع مرور الزمن تعمل على استبدال التقنيات السابقة بتقنيات جديدة.

يظهر أثر التكنلولوجيا الهدامة فعليا في الأسواق التجارية. وتختلف درجة تعطيل الابداع على الفرد من أثر ملموس إلى شيء لايذكر. كما أن أول من قام بصياغة المصطلح هو البرفسور في جامعة هارفرد (Clayton M. Christensen) في كتاب نشره عام 1997 بعنوان “عقبة الابداع”.

من أمثلة تعطيل الإبداع للتكنلوجيا الهدامة استخدام السيارات بدلا من الخيول في التنقلات واستخدام الكتب الإلكترونية مقابل الكتب المطبوعة والاتصال عبر الانترنت VOIP مقابل الاتصال الهاتفي التقليدي وغيرها من الأمثلة التي ألغى وجودها عصر التكنلولوجيا وجعلتها أسهل في الاستخدام ولا تتطلب جهد يذكر.

لايزال موضوع التكنلولوجيا الهدامة موضع جدل بين أوساط المؤيدين للتطورات الحاصلة والمعارضين، حتى أننا سمعنا أحد الأشخاص يسمي المدونات تكنولوجيا هدامة لأنها استبدلت الصحافة التقليدية؟!! ولكن ألا تعتبر هذه التكنولوجيا أيضا وسط جيد للإبداع؟ لذا لن نستغرب خلال السنوات القادمة إذا بدأت مصطلحات جديدة وغريبة تتشكل لتصف كل مالها علاقة برفاهية وتقدم الإنسان.

Fathy is absolutely right تقنيات هدامة is used as a translation for this term, but I am just not very comfortable with it because the connotation of the word هدامة does not really suit the positive definition of the term
