مساحة قابلة للتوسيع/مساحة إضافية أو زائدة
Explanation:
Certain new terms and concepts pop up in the construction industry from time to time, and one that's surfaced in the last decade or so is "flex space". Many of you, especially if you've purchased a home recently, have heard the term "bonus room," which is usually an unfinished room above a garage or other area that is provided for the homeowner's future expansion. Flex space takes that concept one step further. Rather than a single room that can be finished off when and if the need arises, flex space - as in flexible - is an area that can be used in a number of different ways. Depending on the size and configuration of the home, flex space can be an oversized garage, an unfinished enclosed or daylight basement, an oversized family room with access to a bath, or a large attic with floor joists that are structurally adequate for living space - the possibilities are limited only by the budget and the imagination of the architect and the builder.
