In Process Quality Control, the charts are maintained by comparing them to the design sheets issued by the technical department and various tests are carried out on the in-process drums to avoid any surprises in the finished cable stage.

تعتمد الكابلات في عملها على الأسطوانات حيث يتم سحبها والتحكم فيها وبالتالي يجب التأكد من صحة عمل تلك الأسطوانات لتجنب أي تشغيل غير متوقع في المرحلة النهائية من تصنيع الكابلات.

agree  Lamis Maalouf: And I love the word طبليّة :-) But I think it is طبلة, they say, كلهم منقيين على الطبليّة>>> Thanks for the extra information. You can tell that I don't watch or translate TV stuff :-)

  -> Thank you very much, Lamis! طبليّة is in fact Egyptian and it is named after the خِوان or 'short table'. As you guessed, it is derived from/related to طبلة.
