My understanding of the term in this recipe is that it is a chicken product made with the texture of boiled ham. I agree that there are lots of recipes on the web for chicken ham that are a mixture but these are in effect chicken and ham recipes. In this recipe it calls for chicken and then chicken ham. Chicken ham as one product is used as a ham substitute to make a halal hawaian pizza for example when it is supposed to be made with ham and pineapple they replace the ham with something of similar look and texture but made from chicken . It is a bit like beef bacon really in that respect |
