I am actually translating from Italian, but in English the sentence in English would be "use this product every other day/day in day out", in colloquial Arabic يوم أه يوم لأ
But how do we say this in standard Arabic? I really appreciate any help. Thanks.

يفضل استخدام شامبو السدر لفروة الرأس يوم بعد يوم لمد ( 15 يوم ) ، ثم كل يومين لمدة شهر ، ويجب دهن الشعر قبل الغسيل .

Nesrin: I don't know about Jordan, but in Egypt if someone said يوم بعد يوم I would understand it as "every single day".//I'm not saying you're wrong, just that it can be misunderstood. E.g. in your "hawaaworld" link, it means "every day" (followed by كل يومين).
