Et pourtant, les européennes et à fortiori les françaises de seraient pas les plus à plaindre côté cils. Lancôme a étudié la longueur des cils des femmes du monde entier pour arriver à cette conclusion : les femmes françaises caucasiennes ont les cils les plus longs du monde. Ces dernières possèdent entre 117 et 247 cils par œil d’une longueur moyenne de 8,56mm contre 111 à 247 cils de 7,87mm pour les femmes japonaises, 150 à 263 cils de 6,98mm pour les femmes afro-américaines et 143 à 203 cils de 7,99 pour les femmes caucasiennes américaines.
