Capital
The authorized share capital of ICIEC is ID* 150 million (USD 240 million), made up of 150,000 shares of ID 1,000 each. The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and 37 Member Countries subscribed to shares in the capital of the Corporation having a face value of ID 98.24 million (approximately USD 158 million). IDB subscribed ID 100 million (USD 160 million) of the authorized capital through the Waqf Fund. The 37 Member Countries subscribed ID 48.24 million (USD 77 million). The remainder of authorized capital. ID 1.76 million, is available for subscription by new members. Each member country may subscribe to a minimum of 250 shares in the Corporation (worth ID 250,000).

One Islamic Dinar is equal to One SDR which is equal to USD 1.60 as at end of July 2008G.
