هذا محول بين نوعين من الشبكات : شبكة تعمل بنظام
Fast Ethernet (100Base/TX ) and uses RJ45 connectors
وشبكة ألياف ضوئية تعمل بنظام
100Base-FX(ST) and uses ST connectors over "multimode fibers"
وبعد أن قام النص بتعريف نوعى الشبكتين اللذين يتم التحويل بينهما ذكر عدد مخارج الشبكات من كل نوع
وهذا المحول يقبل مخرجَا واحدا من نوع RJ45
ومخرجين من ناحية شبكة الألياف الضوئية بمخارج ST
مع العلم بأن نوع الإشارات التى تعمل على شبكات الالياف الضوئية هو متعدد الأنماط والذى يسمح بتمرير أكثر من موجة فى وقت واحد.

Yes it is . Actually, 100 Base/TX is a shorthand for fast Eathernet (therefore 100) Ethernet using Baseband encoding (hence Base) and Twisted pairs (TX)
