Environment & Ecology / A news article about water problem in the world | | English term or phrase: over oil | At the moment, countries are poised to go to war over oil, but in the near future, water could be the catalyst for armed conflict.
What is the best equivalent for the phrase "over oil"? I rendered the whole sentence as follow:
في الوقت الراهن، الدول على أهبة الاستعداد للذهاب إلى ساحة القتال من اجل النفط، لكن في المستقبل القريب قد تكون المياه هي الدافع وراء النزاع المسلح.
I don't know if I got it right or no?
