English to Arabic translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Environment & Ecology | | English term or phrase: ceteris paribus | Hi, Sorry to bother you again, but I have just encountered another term for which I am unable to find a specific Arabic equivalent. Have any of you come across the term "ceteris paribus" in economy/business/finance?
The whole sentence read:
increased economic activity from trade liberalization leads ceteris paribus to increased emissions
Many thanks for your help again

| | | Arabic translation:(مع ثبوت (كل المتغيرات / باقى المؤثرات | Explanation: Investopedia explains 'Ceteris Paribus'
For example, when discussing the laws of supply and demand, one could say that if demand for a given product outweighs supply, ceteris paribus, prices will rise. Here, the use of "ceteris paribus" is simply saying that as long as all other factors that could affect the outcome (such as the existence of a substitute product) remain constant, prices will increase in this situation. Contrasts with "mutatis mutandis".
