Hi,

This is the best term I could come up with so far,

I don't agree with the answer of sister Nadia, for 2 reasons:
1- The second link she has posted as a reference, it wasn't supporting her answer, in fact it was denying it, as if you look well then you will find that the translator on the second link of sister Nadia translated (modified starch) but the translator didn't translate (pregelatinized starch) as you can see the translator kept the word (pregelatinized) up and translated only (modified starch) which really made me wonder alot about if there are 2 words (pregelatinized and modified) then why we give them the same translation in Arabic? which made me search and find the following link that I will paste it in the references links,

2- this is the part that drag my attention in the link below,

Corrugating glues are the next largest consumer of non-food starches globally. These glues are used in the production of corrugated fiberboard (sometimes called corrugated cardboard), and generally contain a mixture of chemically modified and unmodified starches that have been partially gelatinized to form an opaque paste. This paste is applied to the flute tips of the interior fluted paper to glue the fluted paper to the outside paper in the construction of cardboard boxes. This is then dried under high heat, which provides the box board strength and rigidity,

Now according to this: if you call (pregelatinized) as:
معدل

like sister nadia suggested above,

Then the question is: what will you call (gelatinized)?

as you see from the link below, there is difference between (modified) and (pregelatinized),
as (gelatinizing) can be applied to both (modified) or (unmodified) starch, and it is done to make the starch more pasty to control it more better,
where as the pregelatinized starch is not too pasty which is why they cook it well with high heat to control it,

Anyway, hope you find this helpful, and honestly I believe you should search that term more and understand it better before you translate it,
