This is part of a dressing ingredient:
Vegetable oil, water, egg yolk, salt, cultured nonfat buttermilk (skim milk and microbial cultures).

Microbial is جرثومي، ميكروبي

Is there a way to avoid using these dangerous sounding words in food ingredients.

بكتيريا نافعة
Explanation:
بكتيريا نافعة

I think that adding the modifier: نافعة

would make it much more acceptable in this context.

Thank you Muhammad. Your answer was most helpful. Thank you also Fuad for your contribution and advice of faithfulness and liability. However, you might not be surprised to know that a client's editor removed the whole thing: no microbeal, no bacteria, no ولا هم يحزنون، كائنات دقيقة

Yes, there is, but it may be unwise

Explanation:
The culture used for butter is a form of yeast, which is considered a fungus. Therefore, it is possible to say خميرة or خميرة فطرية

My concern, however, is the issue of faithfulness to the text (on your part) and full disclosure (on the part of the client). The liability in these matters is so high that I would not advise any modification. You could get in trouble.

If you are still looking for a euphemism, try كائنات دقيقة since this is what a microbe is anyway.
