| English term or phrase: Biographical research | | On the one hand, the answer to this question is obvious. We find out all we can about someone's life, in our case the life of a writer. In the library, such biographical research is not primary (that is, we aren't ourselves collecting and presenting the information), but secondary. We are searching for all the sources we can find that will tell us about the life of a writer, or sometimes a group of writers who associated with one another (The Bloomsbury Group, the Imagistes, etc.). |
