Geography
English term or phrase: Stockholm
I would like to know if the name can be transcribed in different ways.
Can the second vowel "o" be excluded in the translation, and if so, why?
Is it just more uncommon to omit the vowel, or is it just plain wrong?
Please add your explanation when you motivate which version you advocate.

Hi,
No, it can be rarely used. But in Arabic we avoid to use cluster of 3 or 4 consonants (like stckholm) after dropping the O Vowel. I hope that it is clear.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Hi Awwad and all, I'd appreciate if you provide a motivation in English when you agree. Is it totally wrong to omit the vowel?
