English term or phrase:fulgurite
Dear all, I am trying to find the Arabic term for this word, the English explanation of it is: vitreous material formed of sand or other sediment fused by lightning.
I would like to know if there is a specific term for this, I can't write the explanation because the number of charachters allowed is very limited; it is mentioned in a movie on which I am working.
Explanation: These are all made up, mind you. I could not find an Arabic term for "fulgurite" in Al-Khatib's, in the Arab Academy glossary, or anywhere on the web, so I made these up.
The first one is a transliteration, just like غرانيت
The second is based on the Latin origin of the term, which means "lightening" or "thunderbolt."
