I don\'t know why when i put Arabic characters on proz.com, I get these stupid question mark... can anyone tell me what\'s going on and how to correct that? Much appreciated

  -> Thanks, Amer. Were you able to read the Arabic characters or words that I entered? Thanks. Because, all I can see on my screen are interrogation squiggles...
agree  Sami Khamou: About the question marks? If you are using MSW 2000 go to "encoding" from the View Menu select "Arabic Windows" If you don't see "Arabic Windows" go to "more" then select "Arabic Windows" Arbic will show.

  -> I am using Compuserve and MS ???XP; where is the View menu? I don't see it on my Compuserve screen, if that is what I should access... By the way, were you able to read Arabic characters in my entry?

I am always for using a three-consonant Semetic root when possible, and I am not a great fan of مقرطة. I have seen it used, however.
