Thanks for the explanation, Einass. I think that this added information - that this is a dictionary entry - is an important context that you could include in your question. Answerers may approach it differently (if at all!) if they know that. If all the client gave you is a list of terms, that's not good enough, because you are entitled to know a bit more. I just searched "be in and out" on the internet and found it used in a HUGE number of ways, as you can imagine. One of them financial:
"In and Out: The purchase and sale of a security within a short period of time, usually on the same day. " |
