أعتقد أن هذه الترجمة هي الأنسب، حيث إن المدونة الإلكترونية تميز الـ Blog عن أي مدونة أخرى غير إلكترونية، كما أن هذه الترجمة تراعي أن "مدونة" هي الترجمة التي شاعت لهذه الكلمة الإنجليزية. وإلى جانب ذلك، فإن هذه الترجمة تتيح الاشتقاق من نفس مادة الكلمة، وهو أمر مهم، فتكون Blogging: تدوينة إلكترونية؛ Bloggers: المدونون الإلكترونيون أو أصحاب المدونات الإلكترونية؛ فعل Blog: يدوِّن إلكترونيا.
