| | Rate Options - قائمتا سعر، خيارا سعر، قاعدتا أسعار | Explanation: Leg 1 & Leg 2 are sort of a 'rate options'. They are used in financial terms (exchange, stock, prices)
This glossary defines "Leg" as:
(1) Sustained trend in stock market prices.
(2) One side of a spread transaction. For instance, a trader might have a straddle; the two options (in this case - a call and a put on the same stock, at the same price, with the same expiration date) are called legs of the spread.

This link says:
Short Leg: The rate agreed at the time of the conclusion of the contract.
Long Leg: The rate agreed at a date further in the future at a rate agreed at the time of the contract.

Sounds like they are TWO "ways" or "sides" or "listings" like the two legs of a triangle. |
