أولاً أود أن أوضح ثمة أمور حول العبارة الإنجليزية
"high horses" is an informal term which means
having a haughty attitude and feelings of superiority over others; and it usually refers to those who show a disregard for others' problems.
أي الشعور بالرفعة أو الترفع أو التسامي أو التكبر على من حولنا ومن ثم عدم الشعور بما يعانونه من مشكلات أو خلافه
كأن نقول مثلاً
I told him to get off his high horse قلت له "انزل من عليائك
أو كفاك تعالياً، كفاك تسامياً أو ترفعاً
in English, "moral high horses" refers to those who are moralists
who are in separation from real-life problems: a state or situation in which somebody is sheltered from the practicalities or difficulties of ordinary life
يعني هؤلاء اللذين يتظاهرون بأنهم أسمى خلقاً من الآخرين بل وأعظم منهم. وغالباً ما يرد هذا التعبير عند الحديث عن مشكلات اجتماعية كارثيه ، فتجد بين الناس من يشعر بحجم الكارثة ويسعى لاهثاً للوصول إلى حل بينما آخرون لا تسمع منهم إلا التنديد والشجب والنقد الأجوف، وكيف أن أصحاب الأزمة أو المشكلة فاسدو الخلق وحثالة المجتمع ومن المستحيل علاجهم لأنهم تجاوزوا حدود الأخلاق الكريمة وذلك بنزعة متسامية مترفعة على الآخرين

(لكن جميعها لن تصلح كعنوان مقالة
لذا أرى أن تصيغ العبارة على نحو

كفاكم ترفعا يا أصحاب البرج العاجي!!!
كفوا يا أصحاب البرج العاجي
انزلوا من عليائكم
اخرجوا من برجكم العاجي
هاهم سكان برج الأخلاق العاجي
هاهم أصحاب البرج العاجي

وذلك بدون ترجمة
"get you nowhere"
لأنها مفهومة من سياق شطر العبارة الأول لاسيما وأن عنوان المقالة كلما كان مقتضباً هادفاً كان أفضل
