English to Arabic translations [PRO] Law: Patents, Trademarks, Copyright / copyright | | English term or phrase: copyright | dear all,
Is "copyright" حقوق الطبع والنشر or حقوق النشر والتأليف ? Is there any difference?
Also, is there any difference in meaning if we are talking about violating the copyright of a book and violating the copyright of a website? Will the translation of "copyright" will be the same in both cases?
Thanks. |

Explanation: The term "copyright" can have any of the above meanings. I think that there's no difference.

I think you should use the most appropriate among them for context and phrasing.
In my opinion, Using "حقوق الطبع" when talking about violating the copyrights of a website will be inappopriate. however, using "حقوق النسخ / حقوق التأليف والنشر" will be appropriate.

Asker: Thanks a lot for the thorough answer. Yes, they are speaking about a website. So I'll avoid "طبع " as you kindly suggested.
