التعويض الضريبي
Explanation:
Pronounced AL-TA"WEEDH AL-DHAREEBIYY

After looking at a number of Australian websites, this tax offset sounds like a government subsidy to help senior citizens with the burden of taxation, without actually making them tax exempt. Although they are required to file tax returns (and even report their measly pensions), the government comes in from the other end and offsets their payments.

“Taswieyah Dhariebeyah” تسوية ضريبية

Explanation:

According to the definition of the Taxopedia dictionary “OFFSET” means: To liquidate a futures position by entering an equivalent but opposite transaction. To offset an initial purchase, a sale is made; to offset an initial sale, a purchase is made.

And hence, this is not تعويض because تعويض is usualy used means to compensate a loss, and this is NOT a loss; and hence, I would recommend the usual accounting term تسوية where the debts are offset with the credits to balance to out a Zero.

Thus, the full term would by “Taswieyah Dhariebeyah” تسوية ضريبية , where the end tax result would be Zero tax paid.
