بنسلفانيا (بالإنجليزية: Pennsylvania) هي إحدى أربع الولايات من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية التي تسمى كومونولث. تسمى بنسلفانيا بولاية حجر الأساس. تعتبر بنسلفانيا من أكثر الولايات الأمريكية تاريخاً.على الرغم من أن السويديين والهولنديين كانوا أول المستوطنين الأوروبيين، أطلق الكويكري ويليام بين على هذه الولاية اسم بنسلفانيا، ومعناها "غابات بين" باللغة اللاتينية؛ تكريماً لأبيه. توفر جبال بوكونو وأخدود منبع نهر ديلاوير النشاطات الترفيهية الشعبية.
