i know i can say

are there any chairs here?
is there any sugar left ?

so if i say

are there any milk in the ketchen? or
is there any chair here?

are these last tow sentences correct or not?
and what is the point of saying ( is there any sugar left) since we can say (is there sugar left?)
and ( are there chairs here?)

please i need reasonable explanation to help me grasb the topic perfectly.
