Kidney Loop: A filtration and/or purification system in which a small percentage of the main flow is bled off for treatment. Another option is a system with an independent pump with the fluid being taken off the reservoir. It can also be called a bypass system.

Reply to Khalid Alkodah\'s comment:
The term \"capability\" is language-specific. The wording will change when the sentence is translated to Arabic because in Arabic we typically do not use multi-layered modifiers. I have addressed this translation issue in several answers before; see for instance my answer to the question on \"Drifting Wind Arabians\". Here is the link:
http://www.proz.com/kudoz/952515
What will happen in Arabic is that some parts of the sentence will be \"re-engineered\" so that nouns may become verbs, adjectives may bacome adverbs, etc. For example, in this case, the word \"capability,\" which is the main noun in the noun phrase \"kidney-loop capability\" may become a verb, as in:
مُجهز بترشـيح كلوي
Here, the word مُجهز refers to the tank being equipped with a particular capability, without actually using the noun \"capability.\" This is one of the many transformations that take place when a sentence is translated from English to a language that is so far removed from it in terms of syntax and style.
