Does it mean ط§ط³طھظ‡ظ„ط§ظƒ ط§ظ„ط¯ظٹظ† as posted and answered before?

Clearly not in this context. The definition given in the context box defines the term as "the process of depreciating an asset." This is not the same as ط§ط³طھظ‡ظ„ط§ظƒ ط§ظ„ط¯ظٹظ†

In other words "to amortize" has two basic meanings, stated as follows in the American Heritage Dictionary:

1. To liquidate (a debt, such as a mortgage) by installment payments or payment into a sinking fund.

2. To write off an expenditure for (office equipment, for example) by prorating over a certain period.

In the stated context, the meaning is an extension of definition 2, as used in the television programming business. The value of the program simply decreases with time, for various reasons.
