هل انفجر جيب المياه؟
Explanation:
It is not exactly water, but amniotic fluid (fluid surrounding the fetos in the womb). Some are pushed by the head to dilate delivery passage. The amniotic membrane rupturing, leating out the fluid, is a sign of the start of deliver.

In Egypt, you can simply ask...هل نزلت عليك كمية من المياه؟ This is colloqual of course.

Explanation:
Thats how it is said in "balady" terms in Egypt. Egyptian doctors are very familiar with this expression. Qarn = Horn.
Still, I don't imagine this expression appearing in printed forms!!
