| | بابنسكي | Explanation: Named after Babinski, Joseph François Felix Babinsky, 1857–1932, neurologist, born in Paris, France. He is known for his description of a foot reflex which is symptomatic of upper motor neurone disease, and a reflex of the forearm believed to be due to a lesion in the spinal cord. Both reflexes are known as Babinski's Sign. Independently of Alfred Frِhlich (1871–1953), a Viennese pharmacologist, he investigated an endocrinal disorder, adiposogenital dystrophy, or Babinski–Frِhlich disease.
