Hey again. Anybody know the Arabic term for militiaman? I'm hoping for something besides جندي ميليشيا or the like... I think there must be a better word... unless there isn't and ميلشيا is indeed perfectly accepted in formal Arabic.
Really obliged for your help guys!

Explanation:
The term militia is indeed a perfect term for this purpose and it is more common than any purely arabic term ....and رجال المليشيا افضل إستخداما من جنود المليشيا لان لفظة جنود تطلق عادة ا على لنظاميين

Google definetely prefers this version over رجل ميليشيا as the most popular. Definetely not "jundi", this word makes it sound like a formal organization, and militia is only semi- formal, at best. Besides, my best-friend Google doesn't like this version at all.
